Re-Solve was founded on a simple but urgent realisation: South Africa doesn’t just have a water scarcity problem, it has a water management problem. Across the country, millions of litres of treated water are lost every day through leaks, ageing infrastructure, and operational inefficiencies. Instead of focusing solely on building new supply schemes, we saw a better opportunity: to recover what already exists.
Re-Solve specialises in water loss reduction, non-revenue water management, and system optimisation. We partner with municipalities, utilities, and private sector clients to unlock hidden capacity within existing water networks, improving service delivery, protecting revenue, and extending infrastructure life.

Making an Impact
One of our proudest achievements has been helping municipalities recover millions of litres of treated water through structured non-revenue water reduction programmes. In several cases, this meant significantly improving supply reliability without constructing a single piece of new infrastructure, simply by optimising what already existed.
The impact is twofold: communities receive more reliable water services, and municipalities protect the critical revenue streams they depend on. In a country where water scarcity and financial strain so often intersect, that dual benefit is genuinely transformative.
