Under the partnership, iZinga Assist serves as The Lekker Network’s preferred verification partner for nonprofit organisations. This gives Lekker members access to a credible process for assessing whether an NPO they support or are considering supporting meets appropriate legal, financial, governance, and impact standards.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting credible, ethical and impactful organisations. It enables Lekker members to make more informed giving decisions while helping deserving NPOs improve their governance, demonstrate their credibility and become more visible to potential donors and partners.
About iZinga Assist
iZinga Assist is a digital verification, rating and donor-support platform designed to address a fundamental challenge in philanthropy: donors often want to support meaningful causes but lack reliable information about an organisation’s legitimacy, governance, financial controls and actual impact.
At the same time, many genuine NPOs struggle to demonstrate their credibility, remain compliant and access the funding they need.

Verify before you support
Lekker members can use iZinga Assist to determine whether an NPO has undergone an independent verification and due diligence process.
Verified organisations receive an iZinga Assist star rating and digital credibility seal, helping donors and partners distinguish between organisations that merely make claims and those that can provide evidence of responsible governance and measurable impact.

Refer an unverified NPO
Where a Lekker member supports, works with or knows of an NPO that has not yet been verified, the member can refer the organisation to iZinga Assist.
The NPO can register and enter the iZinga Assist verification pipeline at no cost. Once registered, it is guided through the required verification process and gains access to the Knowledge & Assistance Hub, including practical templates, training material, Izinga Assist videos and specialist support.

- The NPO completes the verification journey.
- Once assessed, the organisation receives an appropriate iZinga Assist star rating.

A structured verification process covering legal compliance, financial transparency, governance and impact. The process produces an iZinga Assist star rating and credibility seal that an NPO can use to demonstrate its verified status.
2. Secure and traceable giving
Donors can identify verified NPOs, donate through secure channels and receive feedback showing how their contributions have been used. IZinga Assist’s donation system is designed to trace funds through to the beneficiary and provide evidence of expenditure and impact.
