Double Your Network Competition
Competition Rules: Stand a chance of winning a a Rugby World Cup experience valued at up to R200,000, including match tickets and travel allowance.. These rules are the official rules of the competition (“Rules”). These Rules (together with any official competition communications) will govern and apply to the competition in place of any other terms and conditions that The Lekker Network and/or its partners may publish, now or in the future. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you have the right to forfeit the prize should you be elected as the winner (“Competition”). All participants during the term of this Competition agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. The promoter
The promoter of this Competition is The Lekker Network (Pty) Ltd (“The Lekker Network” or “Promoter”).
The competition period: The Competition will run from 10 November 2025 to 28 February 2026 (Competition Period).
Winner announcement: The winner will be announced at the Summit event in March 2026.
2. Who may enter
To enter the competition, all participants must:
2.1. Be a natural person.
2.2. Be 18 years or older.
2.3. Be an active member of The Lekker Network with a valid membership in good standing during the entire Competition Period.
2.4. Have a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the date of intended travel.
2.5. Be available to travel to the 2027 Rugby World Cup during the dates specified by the Promoter (exact dates to be confirmed closer to the event).
3. Who may not enter
Participation in this Competition excludes:
3.1. The Promoter and their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them.
3.2. Any supplier of goods and services in connection with the Competition.
3.3. Immediate family members (spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings) of any persons listed in 3.1 and 3.2.
3.4. Business partners or associates of any persons listed in 3.1 and 3.2.
3.5. Members whose membership is not in good standing or has been suspended, cancelled, or terminated during the Competition Period.
3.6. Members who have outstanding payment obligations to The Lekker Network.
4. How to enter
4.1. Entry mechanism: Current members of The Lekker Network must refer qualified individuals to become members during the Competition Period (10 November 2025 – 19 December 2025).
4.2. Valid referral definition: A referral is considered valid and will count as an entry only when:
- The referred individual completes the full membership application process
- The referred individual is approved for membership by The Lekker Network
- The referred individual completes payment for their membership
- The referred individual is successfully onboarded as an active member of The Lekker Network
4.3. Entry equivalency: Each valid referral (as defined in 4.2) equals one (1) entry into the Competition.
4.4. Unlimited entries: There is no limit to the number of valid referrals a member can make during the Competition Period. More valid referrals increase the chances of winning.
4.5. Referral tracking: All referrals must be submitted through The Lekker Network’s official referral system or processed as communicated to members. Referrals not properly attributed through official channels may not be counted.
4.6. Disqualification: Referrals that are found to be fraudulent, duplicate accounts, or made in bad faith will be disqualified and will not count toward entry totals.
5. Winner selection
5.1. Selection method: The winner will be the member with the highest number of valid referrals (as defined in Section 4.2) during the Competition Period.
5.2. Tie-breaking: In the event of a tie (two or more members with equal highest number of valid referrals), the winner will be determined by:
- First: The member whose final qualifying referral was onboarded earliest during the Competition Period
- Second: Random selection if the above criterion does not resolve the tie
5.3. Verification period: All referrals will be verified between 1 February 2026 and 17 February 2026 to ensure they meet the valid referral criteria outlined in Section 4.2.
5.4. Winner announcement: The winner will be announced at the Summit event in March 2026 via official Lekker Network communication channels and will be contacted directly via registered contact details.
5.5. Winner notification: The Promoter will attempt to contact the winner via telephone, email, and WhatsApp (as registered with The Lekker Network). If the winner cannot be reached after five (5) attempts over ten (10) business days, the Promoter reserves the right to select the member with the second-highest number of valid referrals as the winner.
6. The prize
6.1. Prize description:
The winner will receive two (2) tickets to a 2027 Rugby World Cup group-stage match featuring the South African Springboks, plus a travel allowance bringing the total prize value to R200,000 (two hundred thousand rand).
6.2. Prize structure:

The Rugby World Cup match tickets will be supplied directly by the Promoter (or its authorised ticket supplier).

The remaining portion of the R200,000 prize value may be used by the winner, at their discretion, for travel-related expenses such as flights, accommodation, meals, or other reasonable travel costs.

The Promoter will either:
(a) arrange and pay for travel and accommodation on behalf of the winner, up to the total value of R200,000 (inclusive of the ticket costs), or
(b) reimburse the winner for approved travel expenses upon presentation of valid receipts, provided that the total value of all prize components does not exceed R200,000. -
The winner must confirm their preferred method of prize fulfilment (Promoter-arranged or self-managed) within 60 (sixty) days of prize acceptance.
6.3. Prize exclusions:
The prize does not include:

Any costs exceeding the total value of R200,000;

Visa application fees (if required);
-
Travel insurance;
-
Personal expenses, meals, or entertainment not included in the chosen travel arrangements;

Any costs associated with failure to meet travel requirements, including valid passports or visas; and
-
Any costs unrelated to travel or the Rugby World Cup experience.
6.4. Non-cash and non-transferable:

The prize, or any portion thereof, is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

Any unused portion of the R200,000 value will be forfeited and may not be redeemed for cash or credit.

The prize must be redeemed for travel related to attendance at the designated Rugby World Cup group-stage match only.

Should the winner choose not to travel, the prize will be deemed forfeited in full.
6.5. Prize conditions:

The winner must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months’ validity from the intended travel date.

The winner must comply with all visa requirements (if applicable) and must be legally eligible to travel internationally.

Both travellers must be 18 years or older.
-
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent or greater value should circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make the original prize unavailable.

Travel dates and arrangements are subject to availability and may vary based on match schedules and logistics.
6.6. Compliance disclaimer:
This competition and prize are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Rugby World Cup Limited, World Rugby, or the tournament organisers. All Rugby World Cup trademarks, imagery, and related intellectual property are the property of their respective owners.
7. Prize acceptance and forfeit
7.1. Acceptance period: The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize within seven (7) business days of being notified. Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize.
7.2. Required documentation: The winner must provide the following documentation within thirty (30) business days of prize acceptance:
- Valid passport copies
- Signed indemnity and liability waiver
- Completed travel information forms
- Any other documentation reasonably required by the Promoter
7.3. Forfeiture: The prize will be forfeited if:
- The winner does not respond within the acceptance period
- The winner cannot provide the required documentation
- The winner cannot meet travel requirements (passport, visa, etc.)
- The winner is unable to travel on the specified dates
- The winner breaches any of these Terms and Conditions
7.4. No alternative prize: If the prize is forfeited, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the member with the second-highest number of valid referrals or award it to another qualifying entrant. No alternative prize or compensation will be provided to a winner who forfeits the prize.
8. Rugby World Cup specific conditions
8.1. Tournament compliance: The winner and their guest agree to comply with:
- All terms and conditions applicable to 2027 Rugby World Cup tickets are set by the tournament organisers
- All venue rules and regulations
- All applicable laws and regulations in the host country
- Security screening and entry requirements at the venue
8.2. Behavioural standards: The winner shall not, while using Rugby World Cup tickets or attending related activities:
- Display or publicise any political slogans or offensive language
- Display images of a lewd or explicitly sexual nature
- Display content which is defamatory, obscene, illegal, vulgar, or offensive
- Engage in ambush marketing or unauthorised commercial activity
- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of the tournament or sponsors
- Reflect negatively upon the Rugby World Cup, The Lekker Network, or tournament organisers
- Engage in any behaviour that could result in ejection from the venue or legal action
8.3. Ticket Restrictions: Match tickets may not be:
- Resold, transferred, or offered for sale
- Used for any commercial purpose
- Used for unauthorised promotional activities
- Auctioned or raffled
8.4. Breach consequences: Any breach of Section 8 may result in:
- Immediate termination of the prize experience
- Ejection from the venue without refund
- Legal action by tournament organisers
- Liability for damages caused
- No obligation by the Promoter to provide alternative compensation
9. Liability and indemnity
9.1. Limited liability: The Promoter shall not be liable for:
- Any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the winner or their guest during the trip
- Any circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (force majeure)
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, etc.)
- Flight delays, cancellations, or other travel disruptions
- Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings
- Medical expenses or health issues arising during travel
- Denial of entry to the host country or match venue
- Cancellation or postponement of the Rugby World Cup
- Any failure by the winner or guest to meet travel requirements
9.2. Indemnity: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Lekker Network, its directors, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:
- The winner’s or guest’s participation in the prize experience
- Any breach of these Terms and Conditions
- Any unlawful or negligent acts by the winner or guest
- Any violation of third-party rights
9.3. Travel insurance: Travel insurance is not included in the prize package, winners are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance at their own expense.
9.4. Medical fitness: The winner and guest warrant that they are medically fit to travel and participate in the prize experience. The Promoter is not responsible for any pre-existing medical conditions or health issues that may arise during the travel period.
10. Personal information and privacy
10.1. Information collection: By entering this Competition, participants consent to The Lekker Network collecting, using, and storing their personal information for the purposes of:
- Administering the Competition
- Verifying referrals and entries
- Contacting the winner
- Arranging the prize
- Promotional purposes related to the Competition
10.2. Information sharing: The Promoter may share winner’s information with:
- Third-party service providers assisting with prize fulfilment (travel agents, airlines, hotels)
- Rugby World Cup tournament organisers (if required for ticket allocation and compliance)
- Legal or regulatory authorities (if required by law)
10.3. Marketing and publicity: By accepting the prize, the winner consents to:
- The Lekker Network uses its name, image, and testimonial for promotional purposes
- Being featured in marketing materials, social media, and other communications
- Participating in reasonable promotional activities related to the Competition
- Photography and videography during prize fulfilment
10.4. Opt-out: Winners may request to remain anonymous in public communications but must still provide personal information necessary for prize fulfilment and legal compliance.
10.5. Data protection: Personal information will be handled in accordance with The Lekker Network’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
11. General conditions
11.1. Competition modification: The Promoter reserves the right to:
- Modify these Terms and Conditions with reasonable notice
- Suspend or terminate the Competition in cases of force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control
- Disqualify any participant who violates these Terms and Conditions
- Disqualify any participant who engages in fraudulent or unethical behaviour
11.2. Force majeure: The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Cancellation or postponement of the 2027 Rugby World Cup
- Supplier failures
11.3. Disputes:
- All Competition-related disputes shall be resolved by the Promoter, whose decision is final and binding
- No correspondence will be entered into regarding Competition decisions
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa
- Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts
11.4. Tax implications:
- The winner is responsible for any tax implications arising from accepting the prize
- The Promoter will not provide tax advice and recommends that winners consult with tax professionals
11.5. Costs: Except where explicitly stated, all costs associated with entering the Competition are the participant’s responsibility, including internet access costs.
11.6. Verification: The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and referrals and may request documentation to confirm eligibility and referral status.
11.7. Disqualification for fraud: Any participant found to be engaging in fraudulent behaviour, including but not limited to:
- Creating fake referrals
- Manipulating the referral system
- Coordinating with referred members to cancel after the prize announcement
- Providing false information
Will be immediately disqualified, removed from The Lekker Network membership, and may face legal action.
12. Promoter responsibility
12.1. Tournament organisation:
This Competition is run by The Lekker Network. The Promoter is responsible for the operation of and all matters and concerns relating to the Competition.
12.2. Third-party disclaimer: 2027 Rugby World Cup tournament organisers, World Rugby, host country rugby unions, venues, and any other persons involved in the staging of Rugby World Cup 2027 are not responsible for or liable to entrants in any way whatsoever in connection with this Competition.
12.3. Separate obligations: Any obligations, terms, or conditions imposed by Rugby World Cup 2027 tournament organisers in relation to match tickets or attendance are separate from and in addition to these Competition Terms and Conditions.
13. Acceptance of terms
13.1. Binding agreement: Entry into this Competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
13.2. Changes to terms: The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Amended terms will be published on The Lekker Network website and communicated to participants. Continued participation after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
13.3. Entire agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with any official Competition communications, constitute the entire agreement between participants and The Lekker Network regarding this Competition.

15. Effective date
