The origin of Kinga is deeply rooted in the perspective that organisations compete on the ideas they generate and their ability to realise them. We observed two critical issues: companies were building products they thought customers wanted, and they were taking far too long to do so. This presented significant challenges for organisations seeking to build strong brands and deep customer ties.

Enter Kinga—our name derived from the Zulu word “inkinga,” meaning “problem.” We chose this as our rallying cry because we firmly believe that these “problems worth solving” catalyse companies’ ability to grow.

Today, we’re a customer experience-led digital transformation advisory and execution partner specialising in helping companies and entrepreneurs build products, services, and experiences that customers love and use.

Post-launch, Kinga became one of the fastest-growing customer experience-led digital agencies in South Africa. One of our proudest achievements was helping one of the largest banks in Africa enhance its dynamic capabilities. We partnered with them to help build their internal design capability, supplied talent and provided critical intellectual property required for executing key aspects of their platform strategy.

Through this journey, we learned that innovation must balance customer focus with a deep understanding of the business environment. You need to remain centred on the customer while being conscious of the broader context and agile and adaptable throughout.

We were drawn to The Lekker Network by the chance to do great things with South Africans across the globe. This aligns perfectly with our organisational values—our ambition is to grow in Africa and then the world, but principally to be great exporters of amazing South African talent, ideas, and businesses.
