Can!do Consulting was founded by Ivanna Granelli 32 years ago, making Can!do one of the only female-owned and managed businesses in the ERP tech space in South Africa with such longevity. Our journey started organically when Ivanna, who had a teaching background, began training end users on new systems for Sappi in the 1990s. She recognised how overwhelm and resistance to change negatively impacted the success of new systems implementations and worked against achieving a high ROI on technology investments.

The Can!do name embodies our mission: creating that lightbulb moment when fear turns to excitement as users understand what a new system Can Do! for them. We focus on the human side of systems change, ensuring end-user adoption of new processes and technologies—because even the best technology fails if people resist using it.

While we’ve celebrated countless successful projects, our proudest achievement is staying the course as entrepreneurs, building a business that has stood the test of time while creating employment for fellow South Africans. For 32 years and counting, we’ve provided full-time or project-based employment to hundreds of South Africans and have mentored many young, eager professionals who have either remained with Can!do or who go on to achieve great things elsewhere.

Having experienced the benefits of business communities over the years, we were instantly drawn to The Lekker Network’s concept of building connections among fellow South Africans who support each other—true Ubuntu. This aligns perfectly with our organisational values; Can!do has always been built on relationships, recognising the interconnectedness of all people and valuing collectivism over individualism.

We conduct business through collaborations and partnerships, embodying the spirit of Ubuntu across everything we do.
